President Abraham Lincoln is widely known for his stovepipe hats. He often wore one when out in public, including the night he was assassinated at Ford’s Theatre. One hat said to be his now belongs to the Lincoln Presidential Library. But is the hat authentic? Some experts don’t think so. They point to inconsistent stories about where the hat came from. A DNA test was also inconclusive.
