That’s what a company called SoundFi wants you to do. Its new technology lets you listen to immersive 3D audio sound over your own personal headphones. The first movie to use the SoundFi app was The Equalizer 2. Movie fans could listen to bullets flying over their heads and audio coming from all sides. And if they decided they suddenly had to have some popcorn, they could keep listening while they went to the concession stand. In the future, SoundFi could also offer foreign language dubs.
