British signer Adele collected the three biggest awards of the night at the 2017 Grammy Awards, including record of the year, album of the year, and song of the year. In doing so, she became the first person to twice sweep those awards, after also doing so in 2012. However, as she was collecting the record of the year award, Adele paid tribute to Beyoncé, who was also nominated. “You move my soul every single day,” Adele said. Adele’s awards came for her album 25 and song “Hello.” Many, including Adele, expected Beyoncé to win for her album Lemonade.

Other big winners at the 2017 Grammy Awards included Chance the Rapper and David Bowie.
