Author and writing teacher William Zinsser died in 2015, but his writing advice still lives on with many famous writers. Among the advice he gave writers was to get rid of clutter in writing, to write for yourself, and to read the work both of great writers and of other writers like you. He wrote these ideas and many others in his book “On Writing Well.”
