Like other Pokemon games, players try to find and collect Pokemon characters. But instead of playing at home on a gaming console, players use their smartphones in a scavenger hunt that takes them to real-world locations. Using their phones’ camera and GPS, players walk around their actual neighborhoods. The monsters show on their phones’ screens. The game is very popular. In fact, it already has almost the same number of daily users as Twitter.
