Broncos And Panthers Will Meet In Super Bowl 50

Two of the NFL’s best defenses and two of its best quarterbacks will face off in Super Bowl 50 on February 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Denver Broncos will bring the league’s top defense and five-time MVP Peyton Manning at quarterback. The Carolina Panthers boast a secondary that had the most interceptions in 2015, along with quarterback Cam Newton, who is a favorite to win his first MVP Award this season. The Panthers had the best record in the NFL this season at 15–1. They destroyed the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game by a score of 49–15. The Broncos went 12–4 in the regular season and used their punishing defense to top the New England Patriots 20–18 in the AFC Championship Game. The Broncos will be looking for their third Super Bowl win in eight tries. For the Panthers, they are still seeking their first Lombardi Trophy. Their only previous appearance came after the 2003 season.
