People off the coast of Ireland sometimes see ocean sunfish floating near boats. These gigantic fish can grow to be up to 10 feet (3 m) long and weigh up to 4,400 pounds (1,996 kg). They are usually seen in warmer waters, but use the sunlight to warm their bodies before diving into colder waters.
