Students in Texas took a field trip to the Boston Tea Party Museum without leaving their classroom. Their teacher had visited the museum on her honeymoon. She wanted her students to be able to learn from the museum’s actors. The museum made it possible with Skype, the popular video chat program. Students took on patriot and loyalist characters, and the museum actor led them through the historic day. The theatrical tour taught students even more about the Boston Tea Party. The museum’s Skype visit is available to classrooms around the world.
