Didier Drogba, one of the world’s most popular soccer players, arrived in his new city of Montreal to great fanfare. Dozens of excited fans greeted the Ivorian striker at the airport. After many years playing in the top European leagues, notably at Chelsea in England, Drogba joined the Montreal Impact of MLS this summer. Drogba is known for his ability to score goals at the highest level. However, many fans also admire Drogba for his humanitarian work in the Ivory Coast, as well.
