Every year Boston hosts Boston Harborfest, celebrating its history as a colonial town. The 2015 events included Freedom Trail Players teaching viewers about Faneuil Hall and other important historical sites, as well as concerts. Harborfest began 34 years ago with 35 activities. This year, there were more than 200. Mayor Martin J. Walsh said that the event draws thousands of people every year.
